April Battles - Holistic Horse Works

April Battles of Holistic Horse Works has been a horse lover from the time she could walk and read.  Her interests have always been horses and the amazing things they could do. Even grade school riding lessons were without a saddle in order to “feel” the horse underneath her. April has logged over 40,000 miles on trails training and conditioning horses. Her path led her to study why some horses could move and perform better than others of the same breed. She has spent the past 10 years studying many different modalities of bio-mechanics for horses thanks to many influential teachers.  She has found no two horses to be the same-each horse needs something unique to address its individual issues. April calls what she offers for the horse Equine Integrated Therapies. April uses these therapies along with an innate ability to pick up thoughts, emotions and even pictures from the horse she is working on to find the imbalances in the horses body.
