Lisa Lerch, Equine Attorney

A lifelong horse enthusiast and horse owner herself, Lisa recognized the need for an attorney who was knowledgeable in legal issues affecting equestrians.  In 2007, Lisa established Legal Equestrian, a Prof. Law Corp. to meet the unique needs of the equine industry in California.  Legal Equestrian is a full-service litigation firm that specializes in equine-related transactions and dispute resolution throughout the state.  Lisa obtained a degree in Political Science and a teaching credential from Pepperdine University and her J. D. from the University of LaVerne School of Law.  After practicing with prominent real estate litigation firms she opened her own office in 1995.  She is  licensed to practice in all California courts as well as the U.S. District Court, and is a member in good standing of the American College of Equine Attorneys.As an attendee of the National Law Conference in Kentucky, Lisa ensures that she is up-to-date on all current legal issues affecting equestrians.  In her free time, Lisa, an avid trail rider, can be found riding her Tennessee Walkers, Patti and Kahlua or donating her time and efforts to promote equestrian interests in California.
