Tammy Jones Barber is a South Carolina native and the President and Owner of Moxie Equestrian, Inc.  A horse owner and horse lover since childhood, she is an award winning designer and businesswoman with U.S. and global Best-of-Show awards and recognitions in design, marketing, advertising, brand equity, and brand identity in her portfolio.  Tammy is the recipient of Outstanding Achiever Awards in creative design and creative direction, and several Businesswoman of the Year awards in South Carolina.  Her company is based in Greenville, South Carolina.  Moxie is a certified female-owned and operated corporation, certified by WBENC – Women’s Business Enterprise National Council.  She is married and has one daughter, five step-children and four step-grandchildren.  Her front door is always swinging open and her home is filled with happy voices.  Founded on the belief that women bring innovation to the equestrian industry, Moxie received two U.S. Design Patents in 2009 on their Air-Moxie Breathable Neoprene Boot, and their Tall Hind Dressage Boot with removable fleece lining.  Tammy thrives in creating, and loves innovation.  It’s easy to see why Moxie is known for their fabrics and offers the most beautiful high performance fabrics you can find in equestrian design.  Moxie’s trademarked, Techno-Suede, that has the softest, most luxurious hand-feel and looks like premium suede, but it is a high-performance fabric.  It breathes AND wicks to keep you and your horse totally dry (yes, Moxie makes both horse and human products from their Techno-Suede), shavings, hair and dirt are not attracted to the fabric like regular fleece, and it is totally easy care, machine wash and dry!  Moxie is where innovation meets real-world sensibility.
