Cheryl Price - President - Emerald Valley Health Products

My passion has always been animals, I rode as a teenager and worked for a small company in Beverly, MA that produced a small regional publication Talk Room Talk and the Old Horsemen’s Almanack, Omnibus and the monthly newsletter for USCTA, working at local shows in Hamilton, MA. I worked in printing and graphics for 28 years. Stressed and burnt out, I quit the printing industry for good and started a barn/pet sitting service while pursuing a career in the animal health industry, my passion. I raised two daughters that competed at local hunter shows during their school years.  Ten years ago, I met Claire Norcross, the founder of Emerald Valley. Claire had a moody mare that she was looking to treat naturally. Found a company in England producing these special herbal infusions and brought them here to the States. Claire educated the veterinarian and horse owner about the benefits of natural products. I worked for Claire for just over a year absorbing all the technical aspects of the products, the business ins and outs. She was a great mentor, teacher and friend. Claire passed away from a 5 year battle with liver cancer at the age of 53. There I was, trying to carry on with the daily business of Emerald Valley for her 17 yr old daughter and 80 year old mother. The family sold the business to the UK manufacturer a year later, I stayed on as manager for 5 years, running the daily business aspects, attending tradeshows, conventions and conferences. I purchased EV only three years ago.I have two horses on my farm, 2 dogs, 1 husband. I ride for pleasure, but really do enjoy taking care of animals. I thrive on helping our customers to treat their horses with a more natural approach when possible. Emerald Valley has grown beyond my belief, Claire would be very pleased. Find Cheryl under Products!
