Juliana Whittenburg - Owner Greystone Farms
I have been riding since I was eight years old. I showed equitation and hunters as a Junior in New Jersey. I moved to Florida 20 years ago. Flying Lion Farm is located in beautiful Zephyrhills, Florida. We specialize in breeding a select number of top quality show hunters and race horses. We offer young show and racing prospects for sale as well as select broodmares. We were very lucky our first year of showing. Zeja Vu, our yearling GOV filly in 2007, won USEF Horse of the Year honors for Yearling Hunter Breeding. My Dusty Valentine, our 3yr old Thoroughbred gelding, won Zone Champion for 3yr old Hunter Breeding that same year. 2008 brought us much success as well. Our first crop of Sport Horses were shown in Dressage Sport Horse breeding and we were honored with the #1 weanling GOV filly title as well as the #1weanling Weser Em Colt or Gelding. The Zone awards for PHR brought us the #1,2,3,5 and 6 spots! We took our babies to Dressage at Devon and came home 10th for breeders and our GOV filly Isabella took 3rd place in the PHR class amongst all ages at that prestigious show! Needless to say we are very proud of our babies! Hopefully 2009 will bring us wonderful results as well. We have two weanlings to show this year, Do I Dazzle You, a gorgeous Hanoverian colt and Selante' a beautiful Weser Em Filly, in addition to our GOV and Weser Ems yearlings. Our first crop of Thoroughbred babies are two this year and should begin racing by years end. We are excited to see how this turns out. This is our first experience into the world of racing and we are learning on a daily basis. After a year of private use we became distributors of two fabulous products that I feel will become staples in the equine industry as well as having uses for domestic pets and other livestock.
